Factor Temple of Speed at Unbound

Gravel riding has come a long way in a short time: from backroad exploration to one of the most technically demanding and fastest-growing categories in the sport. What began as a rebellious escape from tarmac has become a proving ground for elite performance. Factor Bike’s commitment to creating the fastest, most advanced racing bikes across all disciplines means that we have been at the forefront of gravel bike development, recognizing what the athletes need and want to excel at the front of the race.

The Factor Temple of Speed in Emporia, Kansas, which takes place from May 27th to May 30th, celebrates our commitment to excellence as well as our wizardry in engineering and design. The multi-day event gives visitors a chance to experience just how advanced our methods are. Whether you are in town to race or root for another rider, you are welcome to join us in our Temple of Speed – Emporia, which is the third in our Temple series. Open daily from Tuesday to Friday, with an evening hosted by Rob Gitelis and David Millar on Thursday where all are welcome to come and meet our team and enjoy drinks and snacks. Be sure to drop by, we’ve prepared goody bags and will be giving 50 away each day.

The Evolution of Gravel — and Factor’s Response

From the first, we’ve approached gravel with the same clarity we bring to the road and track: by designing purpose-built tools for distinct types of racing and riding. Using the same high-grade materials and precision carbon layup as the OSTRO VAM, the OSTRO Gravel is not only race ready but incredibly capable even on the most challenging gravel courses.

The OSTRO Gravel has won races as varied as BWR races and Seven Serpents ultra-endurance events. Ensuring our riders can be fast in every situation has long been a focal point of Factor design. That philosophy will be on full display at the Temple of Speed – Emporia, where we will be able to demonstrate the skill and care taken for the development, design and production of each frame.

Temple of Speed Highlights

Taking place in the middle of beautiful downtown Emporia in the run up to Unbound, one of the most prestigious gravel races in the world, the Factor Temple of Speed will be attended by Rob Gitelis and Factor Brand Director David Millar, who will be happy to speak about what sets Factor apart and what innovations we have on the horizon. Factor athletes racing at Unbound will also be around and happy to sign autographs and give first-hand feedback on their experience with the OSTRO Gravel and the rest of Factor’s lineup.

It will also be a great opportunity to get a sneak peek at several Factor products that will be released later in 2025.
